Why Cervus?

Cervus (Latin for deer) pays homage to Josefa Oswald’s “Zum Goldenen Hirschen” (literally “The Golden Deer”) guesthouse, which laid the foundations for Zeller’s Quartier over a hundred years ago. The similarity to the friendly Bavarian greeting “Servus” is also very apt; after all, our restaurant in Königsbrunn is a place of encounters.
