Full of people and stories

CERVUS is more than just a restaurant – it’s a tribute to our roots. The name – Latin for “deer” – is a nod to the former “Zum Goldenen Hirschen” (the golden deer) inn, which is now known as Zeller’s Quartier. It’s also a play on the Bavarian greeting “Servus”.

Behind CERVUS are the Dreisbach, Mitzel, and Schuler families – all passionate hosts. With a keen sense for flavours, ingredients, and craftsmanship, the restaurant fuses tradition with modernity and conjures up culinary experiences that surprise, move, and bring people together.

Since 1919, our family has been known for genuine hospitality in Königsbrunn. Today, over a century later, we carry on this tradition with a fresh approach and a whole lot of love. In 2025, CERVUS was reimagined with a new experience and design concept – cosy, down-to-earth, and full of surprises. A place to relax, enjoy, and discover.
